Grace Children’s Home – Nagercoil

Located ten miles inland from the Southern tip of India, Grace Children’s Home–Nagercoil stands as a leading light in Bethania Kids’ mission to serve and sustain South India’s most vulnerable young women.

Home to nearly 100 girls between the ages of 5 and 17, the Grace Children’s Home provides housing, food, education, care and nurture to all the girls. Many of the girls are in the home because they were unwanted by their parents. Some are there because of death in the families and many are there because of the devastating tsunami in 2004 that swept through the area surrounding Nagercoil.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Grace Children’s Home was among the first homes that Bethania Kids took under their wing. Many of the girls who grow up through the Grace Home move on to become nurses and teachers.

Most importantly, all the girls who live in our home learn of the love and compassion that comes through having Jesus Christ as a friend and savior.
