There are an estimated 30 million orphans living in India. If India’s orphans were a country of their own, they’d be the 39th largest country in the world (out of the 200 formally recognized countries).

Bethania Kids nourishes and cares for over one thousand children every day. The staff managing our homes know every child by name and they provide individualized care for each child’s needs. The staff are people the children love, trust, and consider to be family.

When you become a sponsor, you will be linked to a child in a Bethania Kids home. Every year you will receive updates and a new photograph of the child you sponsor. You will be able to see what classes he or she is taking, how well they are developing, and what his or her career goals are.

As Mother Teresa said, “If you can’t feed a hundred children, feed just one.” The Sponsor A Child program was developed to help donors connect personally with the poor children in India. Everything Bethania does goes to support these children. As Jesus said in Luke 12:48, “To whom much has been given, from him much is required.” It is our joy to serve these children.
