Bethania Kids can be part of your lasting legacy by supporting our ministry through bequests, endowments, and naming beneficiaries. We and the children and families we serve are grateful for your support.
Supporting Bethania Kids through a Bequest
Bequests outlined in your will can support The Bethania Foundation (our legal name) at the time of your passing. Regardless of your income, a will more easily directs the dispersal of your estate as you wish. For example, you can gift a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate or a designated asset (e.g., stock, a house, property, etc.). You can also designate a residual request that directs The Bethania Foundation to receive the remainder of the estate after all expenses are paid and other bequests have been made.
Name The Bethania Foundation as a Beneficiary.
If you have a life insurance policy, you can designate The Bethania Foundation as a beneficiary. IRAs and other qualified retirement plans do not pass directly through your will and require you to name a beneficiary. You can also name The Bethania Foundation as a beneficiary for certificates of deposit (CDs). By giving to Bethania Kids in this way, a donation that would have been taxable income is no longer taxable.
If you have made a gift to The Bethania Foundation (Bethania Kids) through your estate or would like more information about legacy gifts, please contact us at 800-993-5179 or info@bethaniakids.org.
Educational Endowment We established The Founder’s Legacy, an Education Endowment, during our Comprehensive Campaign Caring for God’s Children. The donated funds will accrue separately, and the proceeds will be directed to education. If you are interested in setting up a legacy endowment supporting education, please call our Development Associate, Wendy Oesterling, at 800-993-5179 or e-mail her at info@bethaniakids.org.
