Dayavu Tragedy

Toni O'Connor | June 16, 2021

At Dayavu Home for Boys in Kannavadi, we lost our beloved director, Isaac Eduman. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 in early June and hospitalized. The hospital he entered sent him to a larger facility where he was intubated. Sadly, there were underlying medical conditions and he passed away. The boys are not currently in residence, but they will be devastated. Isaac was beloved by the boys, the staff and Bethania employees in other regions. He was innovative and ahead of his time with his ideas for improvement in programs. He was instrumental in starting the Women’s Empowerment Center at his location as well as many other improvements. Our Bethania family is extremely saddened. Please pray for his wife and two children.

If you would like to make a donation in his memory, please send it to the Dayavu Home Chapel Renovation fund on the donation page.
