Adults aren’t the only ones who can make a difference in a child’s life. So can children! Elementary aged students in Sunday School classes at Eternal Shepherd Lutheran Church in Seneca, SC, answered the call to raise money for Bethania Kids. Every Sunday during the school year, they were asked to bring money to send to Bethania Kids. The students were promised a dollar for dollar match as an incentive. Those 12-15 children raised $792.87! Matching funds made the donation $1585.74 for our children at Bethania ministry sites. These students certainly made a difference! The teachers who encouraged them are Susan Blount and Debbie Bell in the K-3 class, and Jan Walker and Kate Wells in the 4-6 class. We thank you so much students. You can really make a difference no matter your age. A big thank you as well goes to the anonymous match donor.
